Release Notes

New Features
  • Parsec now checks at startup if the Windows Time Service is running and requests to shut it down which it will do if given permission
    • The Windows Time Service locks the port used to communicate with Time Servers and causes Parsec Time Syncing to fail
    • The Windows Time Service is started by Windows when your System Clock is Synced with a Time Server
    • If the service is stopped via Parsec, Windows will automatically start it again if it needs it
  • The Refresh Time Sync button in the Settings window will now automatically shut down the Windows Time Service if you allow it to
  • Added the ability to reset individual character settings in the File > Settings > Character Settings screen (this will reset size and position of popouts for that character among other things)
  • Users are now notified via a message in the main app window if Time Syncing fails while parsing

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed a bug where Shield Absorb values were not as expected for non English users when raiding. The values were being sent to the raid service using the user's current culture format but were expected to be in US English. This has been corrected to send and receive using an invariant culture format.
  • Fixed a bug that was causing table values to use US English number formats even if the windows language and culture settings were not US English
